The members of St. Paul Hickory Grove help support national and international missions, as well as supporting local projects like the Auburn and Johnson Backpack Programs and Project Response.
Many generous people attend St. Paul Hickory Grove, and it is put to good use through the support of a variety of local, national, and international mission projects.
Orphan Grain Train
Every year, we host a fund-raising Wisconsin-style Fish Boil to support Orphan Grain Train. The 2024 event raised almost $4,500. Members of the Quilting Ministry sent homemade quilts for Orphan Grain Train to distribute where the need is greatest, and the Sunday School students collected about 60 pairs of underwear during their “Undie Sunday” event.

A Benefit for Ukraine
Members of the art community of southeast Nebraska generously gave of their time and talent for a special fund-raising auction and dessert reception for the people of Ukraine in March 2022. Over $26,000 was raised at the event.
